You can access world coordinates by simply tapping on the map. Map Coordinates also offers many tools such as distance measurement, current GPS position, history / favorites, share location and locate location. You can also copy coordinates or address. Switch between different types of coordinates like decimal degrees (degrees and minutes), DMS (degrees and seconds), or special types such as what3words or MGRS.

This app allows you to quickly find the coordinates and address for a point on the map, and then share them with your friends via SMS or email.

You have two options when you want to locate a place. Either type or paste the address/coordinates into a search field, or each coordinate value in its own field with the advanced search options. You can search for what3words and MGRS using only one search field.

GPS satellites are most effective at receiving current location information when the device is outdoors. GPS satellites can be easily found when there is no obstruction like clouds or buildings. The WiFi network can pinpoint the exact location of a device even if it is indoors. However, this is only possible if the device has an active connection to the network.

Side menus can be used to navigate to different areas of the app, such as History and Favorites. It can also be used to change the map provider. Open Street Maps and Google Maps are the available map providers. Each map type has its own map type. Open Street Maps also offers a compass that is always available.

You can also access settings from the side navigation drawer. You can switch between the existing coordinate types, change visibility of the address bars, or enable the Distance measurement tool and the Elevation tools. The elevation tool displays the altitude at which the location is located on the map.
